  • دفتر خارجہ نے ہفتے کو بتایا کہ پاکستان اور سنگاپور نے سنگاپور کے وزیر خارجہ کے اسلام آباد دورے کو تجارت، سرمایہ کاری، زراعت، انفراسٹرکچر اور ڈیجیٹل ٹیکنالوجی میں گہرے تعاون پر مرکوز کیا۔ نائب وزیراعظم اسحاق ڈار اور ان کے سنگاپوری ہم منصب ویوین بالا کرشنن نے دوطرفہ تعلقات کے تمام پہلوؤں کا جائزہ لیا اور 2027 میں سنگاپور کی آسیان صدارت سے قبل پاکستان کی آسیان سے گہری وابستگی پر بات کی۔ دونوں ملکوں نے پاکستان کے ڈیزاسٹر اتھارٹی اور سنگاپور کی سول ڈیفنس فورس کے درمیان ڈیزاسٹر مینجمنٹ تعاون کا معاہدہ بھی تبادلہ کیا۔ بالا کرشنن نے وزیراعظم شہباز شریف اور آرمی چیف عاصم منیر سے بھی ملاقات کی، اور دونوں ملکوں کے درمیان براہ راست پروازوں کی ممکنہ بحالی پر بھی بات ہوئی۔ یہ دورہ سفارتی تعلقات کے 60 سال مکمل ہونے کے موقع پر ہوا۔
