  • بھارت اور کینیڈا سال کے آخر تک ایک جامع اقتصادی شراکت داری کا معاہدہ طے کرنے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں، تاکہ تعلقات میں حالیہ بہتری کو دسمبر میں بھارتی وزیر اعظم کے مجوزہ دورہ کینیڈا سے پہلے ایک بڑے تجارتی معاہدے میں بدلا جا سکے۔ یہ منصوبہ 30 اکتوبر کو اٹلانٹا میں جی 20 وزرائے خارجہ اجلاس کے موقع پر دونوں ملکوں کے وزرائے خارجہ کی ملاقات میں سامنے آیا۔ کینیڈا کا ہدف ہے کہ 2030 تک دوطرفہ تجارت دوگنی کر کے 70 ارب ڈالر کی جائے، جبکہ 2025 میں اشیا کی تجارت 13.6 ارب ڈالر اور اشیا و خدمات کی تجارت 30.4 ارب ڈالر تھی۔
