Xiaomi's Xring O3 chip tops benchmarks in Pad 9 Pro Max review

Xiaomi's Xring O3 chip tops benchmarks in Pad 9 Pro Max review

Key points

  • Xiaomi's in-house Xring O3 chip has impressed in Notebookcheck's review of the Pad 9 Pro Max, a 13.3-inch tablet with a 3.4K display.
  • The 3-nanometre chip, paired with 16 GB of RAM, led almost all graphics tests, scoring over 30,000 points in 3DMark Wild Life Unlimited and reaching 85 frames per second in a demanding 4K test — more than 70 percent ahead of Google's Tensor G5 in a Pixel 10 Pro and more than 40 percent ahead of an iPad Pro 11.
  • Its processor performance also came close to Apple's M4 chip, showing how far Xiaomi's own silicon has come.
