The Bombay High Court has told Bollywood actor Imran Khan that he must tender an unconditional apology, and that an undertaking alone will not be enough, NDTV reported. Khan, a US citizen holding an Overseas Citizen of India card, is challenging a Leave India notice issued after he took part in a protest in Mumbai. The court extended his interim relief until 7 December, while warning that an OCI cardholder cannot take part in protests in India.

Reports say Mumbai Indians are set to hand the captaincy back to Rohit Sharma for IPL 2027, after three seasons under Hardik Pandya in which the five-time champions finished ninth in 2026 and reached the playoffs only once. Rohit, who led the franchise to five titles between 2013 and 2023, is understood to have agreed to return, having first suggested Tilak Varma for the role. The franchise has also overhauled its coaching staff, with Kieron Pollard taking over as head coach. The Bombay High Court has rejected Meta's plea to move a Rs 1,000-crore commercial suit filed by digital advertising agency Blink Digital to California. Justice Sandeep V Marne ruled that a private contract cannot override mandatory Indian laws, and that California courts could not decide allegations involving India's Information Technology rules. The dispute began after Meta disabled four of Blink Digital's business manager accounts and around 9,000 advertising accounts in August 2026. The court also noted that Meta's Indian arm, Facebook India, had itself raised no objection to the court's jurisdiction, so Meta could not object on its behalf. The suit will now proceed in Mumbai, with Blink Digital's interim relief plea listed for 2 November.
