  • یورپی کمیشن نے جمعرات 29 اکتوبر کو سیف قرض اسکیم کے تحت 21.3 ارب یورو کی دوسری کال شروع کی ہے، جس کا مقصد یورپی ممالک کے دفاعی اخراجات بڑھانے میں مدد کرنا ہے۔ بولیاں کسی بھی رکن ملک سے آ سکتی ہیں اور ان میں سرحد پار منصوبے شامل ہونے چاہئیں، اور جہاں ممکن ہو یوکرین کی فضائی دفاع اور ڈرون شکن نظاموں کی فوری ضروریات پوری کرنے کے لیے مشترکہ خریداری بھی ہو۔ منصوبے سال کے آخر تک حتمی ہونے چاہئیں۔ یہ اعلان اسی اسکیم کے تحت ہنگری کے 5.4 ارب یورو کے منصوبے کی منظوری کے ایک دن بعد ہوا۔ درخواست دینے والے 19 رکن ممالک میں سے 16 نے قرض کے معاہدوں پر دستخط کر دیے ہیں، اور 11 ممالک کو پہلے ہی 13.5 ارب یورو ادا کیے جا چکے ہیں۔
