Key points

  • South Africa's Marco Jansen has replaced India's Ravindra Jadeja at the top of the ICC Test all-rounder rankings, ending a reign that lasted more than four years.
  • Jansen, 26, moved up one place to 451 rating points after a decisive performance in South Africa's second Test win over Australia at Gqeberha, where he scored 85 runs and took five wickets in Australia's first innings to level the series 1-1.
  • Jadeja, who had held the top spot since March 2022, drops to second with 422 points.
