  • Israel's army said late on Wednesday it fired an interceptor at a suspected aerial threat near its soldiers in southern Lebanon, without sounding sirens, and did not say whether the target was destroyed.
  • Lebanon's national news agency reported a wave of attacks across the south, with warplanes striking Kfar Tebnit twice, hitting the outskirts of Barashit and the Wadi al-Hujayr area, and Israeli forces demolishing buildings in Deir Mimas.
  • Two explosive-laden drones also detonated over Mansouri.

Israel's army said late on Wednesday it fired an interceptor at a suspected aerial threat near its soldiers in southern Lebanon, without sounding sirens, and did not say whether the target was destroyed. Lebanon's national news agency reported a wave of attacks across the south, with warplanes striking Kfar Tebnit twice, hitting the outskirts of Barashit and the Wadi al-Hujayr area, and Israeli forces demolishing buildings in Deir Mimas. Two explosive-laden drones also detonated over Mansouri. The escalation comes despite a US-brokered agreement between Lebanon and Israel dated June 26, and MENAFN put the toll since March 2 at 4,386 people killed, 12,407 injured and more than one million driven from their homes.
