Its early investigation points to a compromised laptop belonging to an engineer, which gave an attacker access to a service container used to submit unauthorised withdrawals. Blockchain firm TRM Labs attributes the attack with high confidence to North Korea's TraderTraitor hacking unit. Bitcoin fell about 5 percent after the news, dropping below $77,000.
